Social Media Director
As Social Media Director for the Denver Film Festival 2024, I developed and oversaw the complete social media strategy, content production and execution of the festival’s social presence, helping grow awareness, engagement, and ticket sales during one of Denver’s most celebrated cultural events.
A few highlights included working with local influencers to produce high quality content promoting the event, hosting an ambassador preview to engage a younger audience, hosting red carpet interviews with key influencers and DFFs top talent. See links below as reference.
Social Media Strategy: Developed a clear content calendar covering pre-festival promotion, live event coverage, and post-festival highlights across Instagram, TikTok, Threads and Facebook. See strategy deck below.
Managed Social Team: Directed a small team of content creators, copywriters and delegated daily posting.
Cross-Functional Communication: Partnered closely with Programming, Marketing, and Sponsorship teams to highlight priority films, talent, events, and sponsor deliverables.
Training & Onboarding: Equipped team with tone of voice guidelines, visual style rules, and a streamlined workflow for fast content approvals during the festival rush.
Live Event Coverage: Coordinated real-time posting teams across red carpets, Q&As, panels, and parties to capture festival energy and drive FOMO.
